Title A Survey of Workflow Management Tools For Grid Platform
Authors Murugan, Senthil; Kumar, Santhosh
Abstract The wide range of scientific experiments such as bio-medical image processing, climate modeling, and neuroscience data analysis are usually computation intensive and data intensive scientific applications. These applications involve complex scientific computations that are represented in the form of workflows. The workflow representation greatly reduces the layout and number of components involved in the application. The motivation of this paper is to explore various workflow management tools used for massive data analysis performed in Grid computing environment.
