Title New distance between triangular intuitionistic fuzzy numbers
Authors Esmailzadeh, Mojgan; Esmailzadeh, Mojdeh
Abstract Intuitionistic fuzzy sets (IFSs), proposed by Atanassov, have gained attention from researchers for their applications in various fields. This paper presents a new method to calculate the distance between intiuitionistic fuzzy sets on the basis of alfa-cuts. To do this end, we will study the especial kind of intuitionistic fuzzy sets called triangular intuitionistic fuzzy number and then calculate our proposed distance to such intuitionistic fuzzy sets. In addition, we prove that our proposed distance is metric space
