| Abstract | In this paper we propose a new method for estimating a noiseless histogram from a Gaussian noise image and preset a novel adaptive fuzzy filter eliminating Gaussian noise. The proposed adaptive fuzzy filter utilizes estimated image histogram as an evaluation function to find the best fuzzy parameters for noise reduction. Implementation of the proposed method and comparison of its performance with other fuzzy filters proves its high efficiency. |
