Abstract | The classical three body problem of helium atom is studied numerically in two dimensions. The orbits and phase space of the electrons for different initial conditions are investigated by solving the equations of motion numerically. The phase space shows interesting result of band structure similar to the quantum mechanical result of the solids. The variation of auto-ionization with perturbation parameter is also established. |
