Title | Elicitating preferences in Game Theory: A fuzzy approach |
Authors | |
Abstract | This paper proposes a systematic methodology to elicitate preferences at the Game Theory payoff matrix reducing the difficulty of coping only with numerical variables. Moreover, sometimes the fact is that it is not possible to delimit the preferences of decision makers by exclusionary intervals. The authors believe that it can facilitate the process by using a fuzzy approach and linguistic evaluation to deal with the complexity, imprecision and uncertainty of the context. Another benefit is that a more realistic scenario can be built excluding the common deterministic approach. An example, using the dominated strategies concept, is given to illustrate the proposal. |
