Title Quick Adaptation of Web-Based Information Systems with Aspect-Oriented Features
Authors Greiner, Sašo; Tutek, Simon; Brest, Janez; Žumer, Viljem
Abstract Aspect-oriented programming paradigm (4) has proven to be a viable approach to simplifying complex software systems. We are particularly concerned with systems where basic functionality interlaces with more specific and repetitive tasks such as exception handling, logging or message redirection. Aspect-oriented approach enables separation of concerns (19) which are better designed independently, but must operate together. We have extended this approach to distributed enterprise web-based information systems based on J2EE platform.
