Abstract | The first telecottage was “born” in 1985. It was established in Vemdalen, Sweden. The movement arrived to Hungary in 1994. The telecottage is a rural institution using the modern IT tools (computers, Internet, office automation etc.) solving the problems of the local community. The Hungarian Telecottage Association supports the neighbouring countries, transporting their experiences founding their first telecottages and their Association. |
