Abstract | Limited memory in mobile devices presents thebottleneck to execution speed. Abstract Syntax Tree (AST)could be a better option for mobile codes as it is compiledonly once. Hence, to improve the execution speed of amobile device, AST node should be designed in such a waythat it would consume less memory and improve theexecution speed. In this paper, we implement AST nodeoptimization technique for a set of frequently usedstatements on a JavaScript compiler, such as Identifiers,Function-calls, Dot-operator and If-then-else. The desiredoptimization is justified by experimental results. |
