Abstract The technological innovation evolution is a selforganizationprocess. There are complex characteristics intechnological innovation system. From the perspective ofsystem theory this paper illuminated the self-organizationcharacteristics of technological innovation system andanalyzes the self-organization mechanisms of the innovationprocess and characteristics of openness, dynamic,nonlinearity, fluctuation and indetermination andconstructed the self-organization process model oftechnological innovation and diffusion then carried on theconfirmation with statistical software to the model fittingdegree and the model parameters, using the data of Chinacommunication market, obtained the quite satisfied result.These models have realized the integration of the naturalsciences and the social sciences, and developed a newmethod for studying on the evolution and diffusion processof the technological innovation and diffusion.
