Title	日本における音楽療法の現状と展望

Abstract	そもそも音楽療法というのは、西洋であろうがアジアであろうが、既存の社会からどこかはみだすような性質を持っており、受け入れられることだけをめざすと、袋小路にあたるように思う。むしろ音楽療法は、既存の社会を揺り動かしていくもの、人間と関わる音楽という、既存の文化にとって新しい価値観、（あるいは深い価値観）の提示をしていくという可能性をはらんでいるのではないか。 そのために、私たち音楽療法士は何が文化特定的な要素で、何が普遍的な要素であるのかを、臨床、学問、専門性のあらゆる分野で時間をかけて洞察していく必要がある。そうすることでこそ、いつの日か、「経済的自立」にとどまらない本当の意味での「自立」が得られるであろう。
