Title	Ismaee il Musika - Listen to the Music

Abstract	This case illuminates my journey through countertransference with an Iraqi family I worked with at a pediatric hospital. By reexamining the foundations of Person Centered Therapy, I was able to set aside my feelings and then finally connect deeply to the child and the aunt.  Using music therapy interventions that mainly focused on music listening, both live and recorded, the child and aunt were able to connect to their culture and recover emotionally and physically from a devastating injury.
