Abstract | Interview has become a popular method of data collection in qualitative research. This article examines the different interview methods for collecting data (e.g., structured interviews, group interviews, unstructured, etc.), as well as the various methods for analyzing interview data (e.g., interpretivism, social anthropology, collaborative social research). It also evaluates the interview types and analysis methods in qualitative research and the new technology for conducting interviews such as e-mail, telephone, skype, webcam, Facebook chat etc to ascertain how they limit interviewees from giving full picture of moral and ethical Issues. |
